"Ornitholestes head study"
Ornitholestes hermanni. A digital painting of this little Jurassic theropod. Been thinking about doing an airbrush painting of this little guy.
Had an interest in this guy since I first saw him in Walking with Dinosaurs. Got to see him again in Dinosaur Revolution. Loved both designs except that the both of them lacked any feathers. I remember reading that it could possibly be a primitive tyrannosauroid too
. Who knows.
Completed on the 10th of March 2012.
Done using pencils and Photoshop CS5.
